The settlement is situated on Baikal lakeside near to the river head of Angara, which is the only river flowing out of Lake Baikal. Since long ago Listvyanka is the major tourist's center of Pribaikalye . Today there exists all the necessary for tourism infrastructure including hotels of the European level. One of the best is the Hotel «Mayak». The windows open on a beautiful view of the lake. At the hotel there is even a swimming-pool filled with the famous Baikal water.
